Description

The Area Vice President (AVP) of Sales, East will be responsible for driving hyper-growth customer acquisition and bookings through effective leadership of the regional sales organization. This leader will play a crucial role in talent acquisition, team development, and strategic partnership management while ensuring consistent pipeline generation and revenue achievement.

What you will do

Own and scale demand generation

  • Develop and execute multi-channel demand generation strategies that drive pipeline and revenue.
  • Manage and optimize paid, organic, and lifecycle marketing to maximize growth.
  • Partner with sales to align lead generation with pipeline targets and revenue goals. Lead and build scalable growth programs
  • Design and execute high-impact marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Build a repeatable growth engine, leveraging a mix of digital, content, and outbound marketing.
  • Identify opportunities for new channels, new audiences, and new messaging strategies.

Drive substantial revenue growth and pipeline expansion

  • Demonstrated ability to scale revenue at early stage companies, playing a key role in accelerating company growth.
  • Proven success in constructing and scaling high-performing sales pipelines, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads to drive predictable revenue outcomes.

Optimize the full-funnel GTM strategy

  • Improve lead nurture, conversion rates, and sales enablement to accelerate pipeline velocity.
  • Align marketing and sales with precise ICP targeting, messaging, and segmentation.
  • Continuously test and iterate on campaign strategies to drive better performance.

Harness AI, data, and automation for scale

  • Leverage AI tools to enhance content creation, personalization, and automation.
  • Define and track KPIs, budget allocation, and ROI, using insights to drive strategic decisions.
  • Establish a growth experimentation framework, continuously testing new channels and messaging.
Requirements

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or revenue marketing.
  • Proven leadership experience, managing teams and scaling marketing programs in a high-growth SaaS startup.
  • Deep expertise in B2B marketing, particularly in a sales-led GTM motion.
  • Strong experience with SEO, paid media, content marketing, and ABM to drive pipeline growth.
  • Technical proficiency with marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo), CRM (Salesforce), and attribution tools.
  • Data-driven decision-maker, with experience in pipeline forecasting and multi-touch attribution modeling.
